Water is the most precious of all resources on Earth. It is the essence of life and all nature.

Water is the Elixir of Life.

Water finds its application in the Must Crucial applications right from drinking / domestic applications to industrial applications like Boilers , Cooling Tower , Process Applications and many more
Of all water available on earth , the blue planet , only 0.7 % can be utilized by humanity .
However , pertaining to its indiscriminate use , this precious resource is getting exhausted . The Water Tables are dropping fast . Water Bodies have become polluted and defunct . Toxic contents entering the Oceans are killing the marine life . Many species of marine are getting extinct . Oceans are being rendered Plasticised.
We are fast losing this very crucial recourse.

INDIAN WATER SCENARIO

India is a Water Deficient Nation . We do not have adequate usable Water left to take care of our Ever Rising Populations. In the last few decades , due to over exploitation of water resources many problems have occurred . These include :

1. Many Perennial rivers running below Environmental Rates and quite a few becoming dry.
2. Aquifiers drying up or become too saline to be utilized normally. Underground Water Becoming unusable.
3. Adequate potable Water not being available for human consumption.
4. Oceans becoming polluted with plastic waste , marine life dying slowly and gradually. Marine Species becoming extinct and continuous degeneration process slowly catching up.

With the ongoing scenario , India will become water stressed by 2025 unless some concrete steps are taken in this direction.

REMEDIAL STEPS

4 Rs

Reuse
Reuse the Waste Waster discharged from Process / Household water water / industrial waste water. Implementation of Zero Liquid discharge.

Reduce
Improvement of Existing Utilities to increase the water Use efficiency . Development and Implementation of Newer and better Technologies to reduce the water Usage .
At domestic front , Taps and Fixtures with Higher water efficiency could be fitted . If implemented correctly this could go a long way to cut down enormous volumes of water per annum.

Recycle
Recycle of the STP and ETP Waters to the optimum levels. This recycled water can henceforth be utilized in a plethora of applications including Cooling Towers / HVAC / Washing , etc.

Recharge
Recharge the Aquifiers with the Rain water by implementing Rain water Harvesting . Rain water harvesting would increase the ever diminishing levels of under ground water.

Sewage Water Reuse

Sewage is a perennial source of water . With regulated Dissolved Solid Levels in many cases , Sewage could be effectively utilized to provide water to the industry for running their various applications. It is already being utilized mandatorily by construction industry , in certain regions , hence conserving Massive Under ground water resources .
